In May of 2023, The Sunray Companies generously donated $75,000 to further Canopy Children’s Solutions’ mission of serving Mississippi’s children and families statewide. Investing in the children of our home state is extremely important. We are so fortunate to help make such a large and lasting impact.

The team at Hampton Inn & Suites Grenada participated in Toys for Tots this Christmas. They each bought toys to give less fortunate children a great Christmas experience. They have their own families to buy gifts for, but enhancing the lives of others is a priority to them even if they aren't guests, but complete strangers. Way to go, Hampton Inn Grenada!

Our Massage Envy Louisiana and Mississippi Gulf Coast teams raised $5000 to benefit Ochsner Hospital for Children Pediatric Oncology during September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 100% of donations benefit this amazing cause.

This week for me has really shown me the love this Sunray community has for its work family. Wow, I’m truly blessed with the best people on this planet. This is the worst week I personally have ever had to get through, and it warms me to know through this there was nothing but love and prayers from this group. My heart is bursting with all y’all have done to make this time easier. It is appreciated more than I can express. My family and I want to thank everyone for the messages, prayers, cards and flowers and for beyond what anyone could ask for!

Leasa Hester, executive administrative assistant and one of our longest-tenured Sunray team members, shared how Sunray showered her with love and support during the summer of 2021. Leasa lost her husband James suddenly after several inpatient hospital visits. Team members company-wide checked on her while she was off work and raised money to help with expenses. Leasa said this meant more to her than she can put into words. She was very grateful for the kindness and concern shown to her during an incredibly difficult time.

Teams throughout Sunray donated to the bedding and board games drive for Canopy Children’s Solutions. These items help children in their school feel more at home and make it a little more fun. This is our third year for Sunray to support a Canopy holiday drive. Thanks to all of our team who went out of their way to donate. We were able to enhance so many lives!

The holidays can be a hard time for many people, especially senior citizens who may not have family. We as a company participated in the GlamourGals Foundation 'My Dear Friend' campaign again this year. 206 holiday cards went to senior homes in Mississippi and Louisiana - all from The Sunray Companies. In addition to making seniors smile, the Massage Envy national network also donated $1 for every card written - up to $15,000!
