Reese Holmes showed incredible initiative and teamwork during a busy Saturday morning with over 30 guests. Even though she had only been fully trained at the counter for a week, she stepped up without hesitation to support Emma, helping with check-ins and confidently speaking to guests about upgrades and products, which resulted in multiple sales. Her HEART, SPARKLE, and willingness to jump in wherever needed truly made a difference that day.

As the General Manager of Palm Beach Tani in Ocean Springs, I saw how the We Excel core value positively impacted my team in a way that I didn’t expect. Our store’s goal was to hit Gold Store status. For Palm Beach Tan, the Gold Store milestone is $500,000 in revenue. When everyone saw how close we were to achieving that goal, it wasn’t just my team driving revenue. It became a division wide PBT and Sunray team effort to support us in getting there. Krista cheered me on from the Flowood location, Stacy and Catherine continually encouraged us, and other PBT and Sunray team members across the company placed candle and lotion orders. My Ocean Springs team was overwhelmed at the generosity and caring shown to us in helping us achieve this new milestone. It became everyone’s goal to help us excel and push us over that edge. With all of this support, our Ocean Springs salon became the first PBT location on the Gulf Coast to hit Gold Store status. We excelled not just as one store team, but as a Sunray team.
Congratulations to our Massage Envy Maywood & Flowood locations for their shoutout in the national network updates in February 2024. These two clinics were top performers in the network for January & February memberships – Maywood at #2 and Flowood at #5. They have worked very hard on these results. Congratulations!

Sammantha Lovegood consistently goes the extra mile to support the team behind the scenes. She takes time to dig into invoices, anticipate questions, and thoughtfully add notes to our invoice systems for approvers. Her proactive approach not only makes the approval process smoother and more efficient, but it also helps catch potential mistakes and prevent overpayments. Thanks to Sam’s attention to detail and forward thinking, our team is able to work smarter and with greater confidence. We’re grateful for her sharp eye and commitment to excellence!
Michael McCarty, Licensed Massage Therapist and our Training Therapist from Maywood, was recognized at the 2023 National Conference as Regional Therapist of the Year for the Memphis region. The best part is that it isn’t even his first time winning such a prestigious award, but his second. Thanks to Michael’s dedication and insight he brings to his client and his entire team, he continues to do more of what is asked of him each and every day.
Our hotel division has done an outstanding job on their inspections. Three of our Hampton hotel properties received an ‘outstanding’ score on their 2023 inspections. The fourth hotel missed the outstanding level by only .25%. An outstanding designation is difficult to obtain so three hotels achieving this is phenomenal work. The inspections are based on guest scores, cleanliness, standards and condition. Additionally, all four of the Hampton properties received a 96% or higher on cleanliness. Way to excel, Sunray Hotel division!

Emily Austin brings a vibrant mix of positivity, creativity, and heart to everything she does. Known as the hotel’s resident artist, she delights guests and team members with her hand-painted holiday murals and personalized birthday cards. Most recently, she created a custom-made card—complete with hand-painted details and a heartfelt message—for a guest. The guest was deeply moved, sharing that it was the kindest gesture they had received during their travels and that it completely transformed their stay. Emily’s talent and kindness turn everyday moments into meaningful experiences. Her ability to make people feel seen, celebrated, and valued is a true gift—and a perfect example of what it means to live out our Sunray Service Essentials every day.
Patricia Johns from Massage Envy Youree/Shreveport was selected as our Massage Envy Regional Esthetician of the Year for the Louisiana region and attended the 2024 National Performance Summit. Patricia is very deserving of this high honor as she always puts the needs of her clients above her own. We’re so proud of you, Patricia!
Congratulations to our Massage Envy locations who were recognized at the 2024 Massage Envy National Performance Summit. D’Iberville had the highest Thermabliss Hot Stone Enhancements in the network. D’Iberville, Monroe, Veterans and Gulfport clinics were in the top 25 network wide for NPS (Net Promoter Score). Congratulations to these clinics for their hard work. It’s paying off in big ways!
